Creative Places Lab is an exploration into how creativity can help us understand, shape and reimagine the places where we live.
It looks at our streets, neighbourhoods, public spaces and shared environments, asking what makes somewhere feel welcoming, interesting, playful and connected — and what might be missing.
Rather than starting with solutions, the Lab starts with questions.
We want to hear from the people who use these places every day: what do you value about where you live? Where do you feel connected to other people? What would encourage you to spend more time in public space? And what could artists, designers, communities and local organisations do differently?
Your experiences, ideas and even your frustrations can help shape the research. Explore the questions below, share what you think, and help us build a better understanding of how creativity can contribute to happier, more connected places.
